Max was born in Dec. xxxx and adopted from our shelter in early xxxx. He has never liked small children but now his previous owners have a baby in the house so they brought him back to us. He may be ok with older children but you should bring them in to meet Max before considering adoption. Max is ready to begin again with another family who will treasure him until the end of his life!! He has a wonderfully fluffy coat and is very sweet once he gets acquainted with new people. It is best to call ahead (502-875-xxxx) to make sure someone will be there, as we are completely staffed by volunteers. Applications to adopt Max can be downloaded from our website under the 'Adopt' section and emailed directly to Max's adoption counselor at [email removed], or can be filled out in person at the shelter. We are staffed by volunteers and are typically unable to complete the adoption process on the same day that applications are submitted.
